I requested samples with my first purchase. I received a sample of the Honey Creme Plant-Based Fragrance Oil. It smells AMAZING. I think I'll be creating a body lotion or soap with this oil. It's intoxicating. All I can say is please keep offering wonderful fragrant oils. I will keep purchasing regularly.

Great scent! Like vanilla, honey, cake. It seems to be stronger than the other plant-based fragrance oils, which is a positive thing. More cake for everyone!

This is the worst fragrance oil I have purchased. It changed my white soap to dark brown, with a mauve tint to it. The smell is not appealing to anyone. I let my friends and family smell it, just in case it was just me. They all said the same, also let them try the product to see if on the skin it would be better and each person agreed never again. I bought a 4oz. Bottle plus everything I used to make my product, so I took a big loss here. Disappointed!
FNWL Response

Nydia, we are sorry that you are not pleased with this fragrance. However, we do state in the product description that "This ingredient contains Vanillin or Ethyl Vanillin (vanilla extract). It can cause formulations to turn light tan or brown." A number of fragrances, both through us and through other sources contain Vanillin in order to achieve a vanilla-like aromatic note, so it's important to avoid fragrance oils with Vanillin if you are looking to achieve a white soap. Fragrance is highly subjective, and we welcome and encourage customers, particularly those brand new to M&P soapmaking and working with fragrances to explore and experiment using our smallest fragrance sizes and working with small M&P test batches before purchasing in larger, bulk sizes.
