Silk peptide power is fabulous for dry hair. I use it in rose water as an after wash hydrant spray. My curls are shiny and bouncy. I also use silk peptide powder in my body and face creams for added moisture. I no longer buy the high-end beauty products as I can produce custom higher quality products myself.

I used the recipe form motowngirl.com to do my two strand twist. I can't begin to tell you the difference it has made in my hair. So much better than the store bought products. The reviews I read about the smell of this product simply was not the case when I opened my package. I love it!!!

Silk Peptide Powder has made a huge difference in my hair. I use it in a spray bottle simply with water, and my curls look way better, and healthier. It awful, but the smell does fade after the air hits my hair.

I purchased this to put in my daily moisturizing spray. It works wonders for my hair. Its softens my natural hair like nothing I've ever tried before. My only complaint is the smell, but once mixed with water and oils, it isn't too bad. The smell reminds of powdered milk or something similar.

Since I have relocated out of the States I have researched products and now make my own shampoo,creams,soaps and conditioners using products from FNWL. When I came home for Christmas last year I noticed my mother's hair was thinning so, I proceeded to make her some shampoo, added vitamins and this silk peptide powder. It is almost a year later and I have returned home to find her hair healthier and thicker. It is amazing! Of course I'm making her another batch of soap, face cream, and shampoo before returning to Kuwait. It would have been really important to know before I opened the bag how susceptible to humidity this product is. I live in Florida. I didn't have the bag zipped tight all the way and some pouffed out when I picked it up. I ended up with a sticky mess all over the counter, and the open drawer I had been keeping the bag in. It's now in a glass jar.

I bought this about 2 years ago and I'm sorry I forgot to review it. This silk is amazing! I use barely a whisper in my chemical-free, organic face cream/body lotion, and it has improved my skin to no end. Instant results in softness: my skin turns velvety soft, and the softness lingers for hours. I'm in my 40's and I have no wrinkles. When I wake up with pillow lines I promptly wash up and a touch of silk quickly plumps my skin back to normal. I look years younger than my age. I particularly love using it around my eyes. I know other buyers use it for hair care and I still don't understand how to do this. I put too much in my conditioner and it left my hair clumped & sticky. A little goes a long way with silk. I moved it to a glass jar and use a wooden scoop. I keep a small amount in a tiny plastic bottle with small nozzle to dispense a small dusting into my face cream right before applying. If you leave the silk on a teaspoon on your counter, within minutes it will become very sticky: this means that silk constantly draws moisture from the air and into itself which is part of the reason why your skin stays plump when using silk in your face moisturizer. I love to make my own creams and always add the silk at the end, right before using that way it's fresh, live and fully active. I never buy creams anymore. I have to find a way to use it in my hair to reap the benefits which is why I initially bought it. I'm still searching for a recipe. Thanks FNWL for offering this excellent product!

The only thing I didn't know when I got the Silk Peptide was how much to use. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.

If 5 is good and the best possible rating, then silk peptide powder rightly deserves at least a 10. If your hair is relaxed, dyed, bleached, dry, breaking, or is not the perfectly healthy, strong ,shiny tresses you desire, then this product is for you. Once every two weeks, I mix a tablespoon or so into my conditioner, blend well, apply, wear a bag or sit under the dryer for 30 - 60 minutes - my chemically processed relaxed hair has never been stronger, smoother, or shinier. Breakage, dryness, and dullness are hair horrors of my past. This is a product I've used for three years now, and I hope and pray is always available. You have to be careful that it doesn't damp otherwise, it's very simple to use and very much worth the time and expense.
