The bristles in the brush fall out of the center first. I use the entire brush, so don't know why the bristles fall out there first.
FNWL Response

Patricia, have you tried calling or emailing our Customer Care Department about this? I'm afraid that I can't tell from your review if just a few bristles fell out or how you might be using the brush (i.e. if it's left sitting in water or is kept constantly in an especially humid environment, the brush will age much faster). Please call or email Customer Care so that we can help you further: information@fromnaturewithlove.com or by phone: (800) 520-2060 or (203) 702-2500.

This bath brush is a lovely product. It came wrapped in cellophane with an ivory ribbon. It's a nice dark wood. Love it!
