This delightfully spicy CO2 extract is comprised of approximately 90% essential oil including approximately 45-75% eugenol, 5-25% eugenyl acetate, 10-20% beta caryophyllene and up to 5% humulene. It is light-medium yellow in color and is fluid at room temperature. It possesses a longer shelf life than does Clove Bud Essential Oil because the production of the essential oil exposes the oil to a great deal of heat during production. The CO2 extraction process uses virtually no heat and thus allows for a longer shelf life.

Clove Bud CO2 Select Extract is wonderful to use year-round, but it is especially lovely for seasonal use during the Autumn and Winter seasons. In addition to its wellness applications, it is wonderful for use in home fragrancing, diffusion and potpourri blends. It is also said to be an aphrodisiac.
