In our experience, Violet #2 is a classic purple (violet) hue. This particular colorant can be rather subtle. For a more intense color, try using Violet #2 Powder instead. The amount of colorant that you use will affect the intensity and vibrancy of the hue."

Keisha, that's not a fault of the dye but is simply an issue with coloring particular natural salts. Please be careful when coloring bath salts. If you color them way too heavily, the colorant can potentially stain the skin or tub. Our Pearlescent Micas are another beautiful alternative for adding color to salts.
